Why Indians Are Loving The Docu Film?
Since childhood, we learn about India’s colonial history and heritage. Our history books are filled with the names of freedom fighters, great emperors and ancient civilisations. The documentary features some of the historical sites and educates you about their historical significance. Like the Jallianwala Bagh Memorial Complex. It was one of the darkest chapters in India’s struggle for independence. Similarly, the Cellular Jail, or Kala Pani, was the cruellest jail where freedom fighters were kept! The film refreshes our memories of the events that took place during British rule.
In addition to the colonial era, you are greeted with some of the ancient sites like temples, sites of Indus Valley civilisation, etc. One of these sites is Dholavira in Gujarat.
