We read somewhere that biryani is not just a food, it’s an emotion! And playing with millions of emotions again, biryani’s worst nemesis, Mumbai-based baker Heena Kausar Raad is back with another outrageous dish. After Barbie, Hulk, and blue Spiderman biryani, she has now created Mango Biryani! Of course, as you can imagine, the internet has a few things to say about this!

There is a line between fusion food and food disasters, and Mumbai-based baker Heena Kausar Raad has found herself on the other side of this line again! Keeping up with her experimental biryani theme, she has now shocked the internet by making Mango Biryani. Yes, not biryani with mango raita but actual mango chunks inside a biryani!

Heena is known for experimenting with her biryanis and while we’re still not over her blue-hued Spiderman Biryani, this one takes the cake for us! And not in the food way! She took to her Instagram page to share a reel in which she excitedly showed the mango biryani. This dish was apparently made for a ‘Tropical Summer Theme Party’ that she hosted for her students. In a follow-up video, she did mention that they also had normal vegetarian and chicken biryanis at this party and a majority of the students were having them – thank God!
