PM Narendra Modi is visiting Mumbai today and to ensure smooth commute throughout the city, the Mumbai Police has issued some traffic advisories. The PM is in the city to address a ceremony marking the monumental event celebrating 90 years of the Reserve Bank of India. Effective from 7 AM to 2 PM, there are several changes in the usual traffic patterns on key roads in Mumbai as well as some diversions, and restrictions. Mumbai Traffic Police Issues Advisory, Routes To Avoid & More
To ensure that normal traffic doesn’t get affected much during PM Modi’s Mumbai visit, the Mumbai Police has mapped out a few additional traffic advisories and diversions on several important routes. As per the notification issued by Mumbai Police, the stretch of Rambhau Salgaonkar Road from Indu Clinic Junction (Sayyed Jamadar Chowk) to Volga Chowk shall be open for both directions of vehicular traffic. The route from Maker Tower 04 from Jamanalal Bajaj Marg to Usha Mehta Chowk will also be open for both directions of vehicular traffic. Furthermore, the stretch from Jamanalal Babaj Marg to NCPA Gate No 04 will be open for both directions of vehicular traffic.
There are also parking restrictions enforced in the following areas from 7 AM to 2 PM –

- Nathalal Parekh Road
- Captain Prakash Pethe Road
- Rambhau Salgaonkar Road
- Gen. Jagannath Bhosale Road
- Madam Cama Road
- Barrister Rajni Patel Marg
- Jamanalal Bajaj Marg
- Vinay K Shah Marg
- Ramnath Goika Marg
- Dorabji Tata Road
- NCPA Marg
- Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Marg
- VV Rao Marg
- Best Road
The police have requested commuters to check for traffic updates before planning their travel today.

PM Narendra Modi’s Mumbai Visit
PM Narendra Modi is visiting Mumbai today to attend a ceremony marking the 90 years of the Reserve Bank of India. He will be attending the ceremony as the chief guest and also address the crowd there. As per reports, he will be accompanied by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman there. The FM will also address the gathering during the ceremony. RBI Governor Shaktikanda Das will also address the ceremony and deliver a welcome speech.
