PM Modi’s 73rd Birthday: Here Are The List Of Events Organised To Celebrate The Day Across Nation

On Sunday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi turned 73, and BJP party officials and members organised celebrations around the country. Many wishes poured in from various leaders, celebrities, and known people from across the globe. Here is a list of events planned!

PM Modi’s 73rd Birthday: Events Planned

The first phase of the India International Convention Centre (IICC), also known as “Yashobhoomi,” in Dwarka, New Delhi, will be officially opened by Prime Minister Modi on his 73rd birthday. The Delhi Airport Metro Express Line extension, which runs from Dwarka Sector 21 to a recently built metro station at Dwarka Sector 25, will also be dedicated by him.  

On Sunday, the day of “Vishwakarma Jayanti,” Prime Minister Modi will introduce his government’s expansive program, “PM Vishwakarma,” which aims to support artisans, craftsmen, and other people who practise ancient skills. The Union Cabinet approved the implementation of the PM Vishwakarma Yojana in India on August 16, 2023. 

On the other hand, as part of its “Sewa Pakhwara” (fortnight of service) to commemorate Prime Minister Modi’s birthday on Sunday, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will engage various segments of society and plan numerous charitable events around the nation. (As per Hindustan Times)

Sewa Pakhwara And More

The BJP participates in a wide range of events during the “Sewa Pakhwara,” including educating the public about the government’s accomplishments and carrying out humanitarian projects including blood donation drives, clean-up campaigns, and health clinics.

To ensure the best possible delivery of health initiatives to every intended recipient, especially those in the last mile, the Union Health Ministry will, for instance, launch the “Ayushman Bhav” campaign on PM Modi’s birthday.

On October 2, the campaign will be over. Ayushman Apke Dwar 3.0, Ayushman Melas at Health and Wellness Centers (HWCs) and Community Health Centers (CHCs), and Ayushman Sabhas in each village and panchayat would be its three main components. (As per Live Mint)

On the occasion of the Prime Minister’s 73rd birthday, 73 priority Tripura households will obtain PG ration cards, 73 students will receive copies of the Bhagavad Gita, and 73 people with disabilities will receive support.

30,000 schoolgirls in the Navsari area will have bank accounts opened, according to a Live Mint article. To mark the event, the BJP Yuva Morcha will host blood donation drives in each of Gujarat’s districts.

River Cruise Restaurant

On September 17, the day of Modi’s birthday, four ‘Yog Shivirs’ were held in Rajkot, Gujarat, to raise public knowledge of yoga. More than 500 people showed up for the two-day celebration of Prime Minister Modi’s 73rd birthday in Rajkot.

In addition, a BJP member in Pune displayed PM Modi’s face on Saturday using grains and millet. In 18 hours, artist Ganesh Khare and his colleagues produced the 10-by-18-foot portrait. The portrait was made using about 60 kg of grains, including wheat, lentils, and millets (Jawar, Raagi).

On Saturday, celebrations were also conducted at Gujarat’s renowned Akshar River Cruise restaurant. The Sabarmati Riverfront Development Corporation, Amdavad Municipal Corporation (AMC), and Akshar Travels collaborated to create the floating restaurant known as Akshar River Cruise. 

PM Modi’s visionary project was the River Cruise restaurant. According to owner Manish Sharma, this is the only River Cruise restaurant in the nation. (As per Live Mint)
