Metro makes travelling easier for people in a city, and now the people of Gurugram will also be able to travel through this mode of transport, quite soon. Yes, PM Narendra Modi in an event in Rwari, Harayana, laid the foundation for the Gurugram Metro Rail Project and AIIMS Rewari. Not to mention, several other ambitious projects were also announced during his address to the public.
PM Narendra Modi Laid Foundation Stone For Gurugram Metro Rail Project
During the Vikasit Bharat Vikasit Haryana event, PM Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone for the Gurugram Metro Rail Project. Once complete, this metro network will run from Huda City Centre to the Cybercity. As it happens, this will be Gurugram’s own metro network and will have a 1.85 km spur at the Dwarka Expressway. With a total length of 28.5 km, the metro station is going to connect the Millennium City Centre to Udyog Vihar Phase-5. moreover, it will also merge into the current metro network of Rapid Metro Rail Gurugram at Moulsari Avenue.
The New Metro Network To Comprise 27 Stations
It’s worth noting that the aim is to connect 27 elevated projects that will be built as a part of this metro rail project. Additionally, Haryana Rapid Transport Corporation will be the agency responsible for executing the project. Other Projects Also Announced
Besides the foundation stone for the metro rail project, PM Modi also led the foundation for AIIMS Rewari. It is a part of the multiple development projects, which are worth over ₹9750 crores. As it happens, it also includes the newly built Anubhav Kendra Jyotisar and several railway projects.
So, once the project is complete, travelling in Gurugram is bound to get easier for people.
