Story Worthy Of A True-Crime Documentary
In 1991, two brothers, Stefano and Giuseppe Bartolomew, who belonged to a rival gang, were brutally murdered. They were beaten to death and since their bodies were never found, it is presumed that they were dissolved in acid.
Greco was then put on trial for the murder and an arrest warrant was released in 2006 after which Greco took flight. After almost eight years, he went to Saint Etienne in France and hid as a pizzamaker.
Now Paolo Dimitrio, Greco’s new identity, served pizzas to patrons. Because of his flight, Greco now received a life sentence. He was so confident of this new alias of his that he was even featured in a local newspaper where he bragged about the authenticity of the flavours at his restaurant.
