Pranita Subhash Feels Masala Dosas Must Be Eaten Only At Darshinis

For those new to Bengaluru, darshinis are small quick-service restaurants in the city that are known for serving affordable south Indian food like dosas, idlis, vadas and filter coffee. Popular for their breakfast, darshinis are known for their speed, efficiency and pay-first-eat-later concept. Typically serving vegetarian fare, it’s go-to spot for working professionals who stop by for a quick bite, standing by metal tables to polish a plate of dosa and coffee ahead of a long working day.

While having breakfast with Pranitha in SLV, Jayanagar, she told us, “I feel something like dosa has to be eaten at a darshini. I feel Masala Dosas need to be had here. You can’t Swiggy it then the taste goes away.” She said SLV, Shiv Sagar are two examples of the many darshinis in Bengaluru, the city’s most-priced culinary possession. We did a filter coffee cheers with the actress. While sipping kaapi, Pranitha revealed that she has always been a Bangalore girl, particularly a South Bangalore girl.
