Besides buses and auto-rickshaws, Pune received a metro system that connected the city and provided a transport facility for the locals. Punekars, Get Ready For 2 More Pune Metro Lines By July End!
Two more sections of the Pune Metro will be operational by the end of July, which is fantastic news for residents of Pune. According to officials, the Maharashtra Metro Railway Corporation Limited (Maha-Metro) intends to make the Civil Court to Phugewadi and Garware College to Ruby Hall Clinic metro lines available to passengers. Additionally, there are plans to conduct test runs along the Ruby Hall Clinic to Ramwadi route before launching passenger service in September.
In the second week of July, the Commissioner of Metro Railway Security (CMRS) is anticipated to issue a final certificate. According to officials, CMRS has already done three inspections, and the last one is due next week. The state government will be informed once the final certificate from CMRS is received. Also, they will make the final decision to begin passenger services on the two lines.

Guardian Minister Set A Deadline For Maha-Metro
Due to the completion of the Civil Court and Shivajinagar underground stations, they have also decided to commission the underground section from Shivajinagar to Swargate. Guardian minister Chandrakant Patil set a deadline for Maha-Metro to finish all work by the end of April during a review meeting that was conducted in April. Now, however, it is anticipated that all work will be finished by the end of December.
After being introduced, the Pune Metro has been a boon to people and more lines are yet to come! The proposed lines include plans to connect areas like Swargate, Wagholi, Hinjawadi, Chakan, Wakad, Savitribai Phule Pune University and so on. The authorities are planning to provide more connectivity and have started phase 2.
