According to the India Meteorological Department report, there is a major probability that several districts may receive moderate rainfall. These districts are:

Also, some districts such as Bilaspur, Sirmaur, and Solan may receive hail as well, according to a report by The Times Of India. Places at the higher altitudes of this state is experiencing snowfall for the last 24 hours.

The sudden change in the weather has turned out to be a major problem for tourists. Roads are getting closed at different points because of heavy snowfall and people are finding it troublesome to continue their journeys. According to a report by NDTV, an official on Monday shared that 14 roads got blocked for transportation because of snowfall. Some of these roads that had to stop vehicular movement were:

Heavy snowfall is not only just blocking the roads and stopping vehicular transportation, but this also trapped 5 travellers in Lahaul and Spiti. The good news is that they have been rescued from the heaps of snow. In addition to this, over 500 vehicles had to stay stuck between Atal Tunnel, Rohtang, and Dhundi. These vehicles are now being transported to proper locations.

Snowfall made the roads slippery and this became a major concern. The Kullu district police started working on a rescue operation as soon as they saw the change in weather.
