The biggest and most prestigious movie theatre chain in India, PVR INOX, has announced the opening of a new 3-screen multiplex in Patna, Bihar’s KP Mall. The recently launched cinema is the first in the state, which is the centre of the thriving Bhojpuri and Maithili film industries. With 134 screens distributed among 35 properties in West Bengal, Jharkhand, Odisha, Assam, and Bihar, this launch strengthens PVR INOX’s presence in East India.

A dense population and residential societies surround the multiplex on Budha Marg. With 568 seats, the theatre offers best-in-class theatrical solutions, cutting-edge cinematic technologies, such as 2K projectors, Dolby Atmos surround sound, and 3D powered by Volfoni Smart Crystal Diamond Solution.
The cinema has a modern art deco style with a youthful feel that is accentuated by colour and energy thanks to the step-cove lit ceiling. The gold-framed TVs lining the lobby’s long wall help define the luxury aspect of the establishment. The warm and welcoming concessions feature a backlit counter and burgundy tiles.
The long lobby is visually guided by the floor pattern, which unifies the area. Digital ticket and food ordering kiosks are another addition to the property’s distinctive offerings. Customers will be able to order from Swiggy and Zomato to enjoy the wide variety of food options available at the F&B Concession Counter while relaxing in their own homes.
