Airlines are making extra efforts to make the flight experience pleasant for passengers. It includes offering comfortable seats and providing better facilities and hospitality. AirHelp, a management company, has shared a report of the best and the worst airlines of 2023—here’s the list!

In their report, AirHelp states that providing better amenities and facilities are among the factors which determine the best and worst airlines. However, the majority of the time, airlines ignore the crucial element. And that is how the airlines treat their passengers when a problem occurs. They contend that an airline’s worth should be evaluated not only on how well it serves passengers in regular circumstances but also on how thoughtfully it handles complaints from clients.
The organisation assessed 83 airlines based on consumer feedback, timeliness, and the effectiveness with which they handle workers’ compensation claims in order to create its yearly “AirHelp Score.”
List Of Best Airlines:
1. Qatar Airways
Qatar Airways is the flag carrier of Qatar and scored 8.38 on the list. Further, the airline’s headquarters is located in Doha and it operates a hub-and-spoke network, flying over 150 destinations.
2. Eurowings
German low-cost airline Eurowings GmbH is a fully owned subsidiary of the Lufthansa Group. Its headquarters is located in Düsseldorf and the airline scored 8.27 in the report.
3. LOT Polish Airlines
The flag carrier of Poland remains one of the oldest operating airlines. It scored 8.11 in the survey of best and worst airlines.
4. Etihad Airways
Etihad Airways is one of the two flag carriers of the UAE. Furthermore, it is the second-biggest airline after Emirates which has scored 8.09.
5. All Nippon Airways
This Japanese airline tied with Etihad Airways and scored 8.09 in the report.

6. Austrian Airlines
It is an Austrian flag airline and a division of the Lufthansa Group and scored 8.07.
7. American Airlines
Major US airline American Airlines received a score of 7.97. In terms of revenue passenger mile and scheduled passenger carried, it is the biggest airline in the world.
8. China Airlines
The Republic of China’s state-owned flag carrier, China Airlines, received a score of 7.92.
9. Wideroe
Norwegian Airlines received a score of 7.89. In addition, it is the biggest regional carrier in the Nordic region.
10. United Airlines
With its headquarters located in Chicago’s Willis Tower, this important American airline received a score of 7.88.

1. Tunisair
The flag carrier of Tunisia is called Tunisair which scored 4.12. It was established in 1948 and now runs scheduled international flights to all four continents.
2. British Airways
The flag carrier airline of the United Kingdom scored 5.03.
3. Frontier Airlines
With its main office located in Denver, Frontier Airlines is a significant ultra-low-cost American airline which scored 5.18.
4. Pegasus Airlines
This Turkish low-cost airline tied with Frontier Airlines and scored 5.18.
5. Czech Airlines
The flag carrier of the Czech Republic scored 5.20 in the report.
6. Air Canada
In terms of both size and number of passengers transported, Air Canada is both the nation’s flag carrier and largest airline which scored 5.68.
7. Spirit
Based in Miramar, it is a significant ultra-low-cost airline in the United States and it scored 5.69.
8. TAROM
With its headquarters in Otopeni, TAROM is Romania’s flag carrier and the oldest airline still in operation and it scored 5.71.
9. Azores Airlines
This Portuguese airline tied with TAROM and scored 5.71 in the survey.
10. Air Austral
This French airline scored 5.77 in the survey!
