As Ramadan will conclude within some days there’s the joy of Eid Al Fitr approaching in the air. And for those who aren’t aware, the Islamic traditions surrounding this festival involve a practice called ‘Eidiah’. The sweet childhood memory of receiving money from the elders of the house refreshes when we hear the term. And Qatar has taken this practice a step further by establishing an Eidiah ATM in the region.
Eidiah ATM Is Available Across Multiple Locations In Qatar
It’s the season of gifting and we can see people rushing to the malls and souks for gift shopping. But when it comes to Eidi or Eidiah, the elders in the house prefer to hand out cash to the younger ones. So to honour the traditions & culture of Eid Al Fitr, visit these ATMs curated by Qatar Central Bank, specifically for this festive season across Qatar.
So how does this service work? Customers can use this ATM facility to withdraw cash in amounts of QR5, QR10, QR50, and QR100.
