The celebrity gave his fans the opportunity to shoot questions at him last evening one of which even started a small war in the comments section.
Raghu Ram Chooses Upma Over Poha During Reddit AMA Sesh
At 7:30 PM last evening, Raghu Ram hosted an AMA session on Reddit’s r/indiasocial. We at Curly Tales were instantly drawn to all the food and travel-related questions. One Redditor asked him to choose between Poha and Upma. The Indian actor and TV personality replied, “Ow! Started off with a tough one! Hmmm…. Upma.”
Netizens grabbed the opportunity to start a food war in the comments thread. One Redditor asked in Raghu Ram’s style, “Tu Banega Roadie?” Some Redditors were enraged at him for pushing Poha aside and asked others to cancel him.
Other comments read, “Chup bilkul chup”, “Arre yaar muje sunna hi nahi he” and “I’m stunned”.
Even sub-Reddit, r/PohaRevolution joined the chat! In his defence, it was a tough choice between the two breakfast dishes; a Maharashtrian staple and a South Indian favourite. Since Raghu is a South Indian, perhaps it explains his bias toward Upma.

A person even asked him to name his comfort dish. “Indian. Rice with almost anything,” answered Raghu. Ask him if he has anger issues after his infamous antics in Roadies and the celebrity nonchalantly answered he doesn’t. Rather, he is “allergic to stupidity”.
