A video posted by a Rahul Dravid fan Spandan Kaniyar on X, shows the cricketer arguing with an auto driver on Cunnigham Road in Bengaluru. Dravid usually synonymous with his calm demeanor both on and off the cricket field, is seen visibly annoyed while he engages in a serious conversation in Kannada. In the caption, Kaniyar mentioned that Dravid’s Creta touched a goods auto.
The minor collision resulted in an argument on the road between the two individuals. The cricketer is seen venting out his frustration. Fortunately, none of the individuals were injured due to the collision. Major damage couldn’t be seen on the vehicle as well. Dravid tried to explain that the collision wasn’t his fault and asked the driver why he applied sudden breaks. The cricketer was seemingly annoyed.
Netizens Draw Parallels With His “Indiranagar Ka Gunda” Ad
Netizens hilariously drew parallels to this incident with his ‘angry young side’ shown in the popular advertisement where he called himself “Indiranagar ka Gunda” (The gangster of Indiranagar). The video went viral on X, garnering over 245.5k views and 190 comments. One Netizen pointed out the antique shop ‘The Rustic Wall’, behind Rahul Dravid AKA ‘The Wall’, a serendipitous witness to the incident.
Another remarked, “OMG. Auto driver is arguing with God of Cricket.” Along similar lines, another X user said, “Even Rahul Dravid has to fight on the Bengaluru roads.” Joking about his incredible defence, a person said, “Not even a scratch. Even Dravid’s car has incredible defence.” Some Netizens wondered if ‘The Wall’ cracked under pressure.
