- On the same day (2 September), RMT is also organising the month’s second rail strike. According to the plans, a total of 20,000 members of the union are taking part in it. They are going to walk out for the second time time just like its previous walkout last week.
- All these rail strikes on Friday and Saturday are going to be majorly problematic for lakhs of passengers dependent on rail transportation.
- Many trains have been cancelled due to the September rail strikes.

The dates for these events are 1 and 2 September but the previous and next days are also seeing major impacts. The initial trains leaving the station on Sunday morning are ready to witness a massive surge in passenger footfall due to the unavailability of trains in the past two days.

Trains likely to operate on these dates are Caledonian Sleeper, Grand Central, Lumo, Hull Trains, Transport for Wales, London Overground, ScotRail, Heathrow Express, and Merseyrail.
These unions are holding rail strikes because of improper working conditions and the government not providing a fair payment.
