Revised Flight Schedule Of Maharana Pratap Airport, Udaipur
As per a report by Patrika.com, the new schedule will reduce daily flights to Delhi from eight to four. Only two flights, operated by Air India and IndiGo, will be available from March 29 onwards. This change will directly impact daily commuters between Udaipur and Delhi.

Additionally, the expected rise in airfares may make ticket bookings more difficult. Passengers travelling from Udaipur and nearby areas such as Rajsamand, Chittorgarh, and Bhilwara may also face inconvenience, as the new schedule removes direct connectivity to Pune. Travellers will now have to reach Pune via Delhi or Mumbai, increasing both travel time and costs.
Flight Timings As Per The New Schedule
The new schedule has also changed major flight timings. While flights to and from Jaipur remain, their timings have been changed. The morning flight, previously scheduled for 6:50 am, will now depart from Jaipur at 10:20 am and arrive in Udaipur at 11:25 am. The evening flight from Jaipur to Udaipur will now arrive at 5:50 pm. Air India has strengthened its flight options for Delhi and Mumbai. Air India flights from Udaipur to Mumbai, AI-2580, AI-2594, and AI-2596, will now depart at 12:40 pm, 2:40 pm, and 4:35 pm. Other Air India flights from Udaipur to Delhi, AI-1820 and AI-1897, will operate daily at 1:50 pm and 3:55 pm.

The total number of IndiGo flights has been reduced to two flights each in the morning and evening to Jaipur, along with evening flights to Mumbai and Delhi. The new schedule has limited connectivity to South India, while the absence of key flights to Indore has become a major setback for daily commuters.
The reduction in the number of flights from Udaipur Airport is likely to impact tourism and commercial activity in the city. The news portal reported that airlines determined the new schedule based on available demand and resources.
