It is safe to say that the Dilli wala loved all of it!

Rajat Kapoor’s Ate At This Paranthe Wali Gali Shop

The first stop for the Chandni Chowk food trail began at the iconic Paranthe Wali Gali. It is known for serving all kinds of stuffed paranthe fried in desi ghee and paired with aloo ki sabzi, coriander chutney and banana chutney. You can find malai, karela, papad among other kinds of paranthe.

As a Delhiite, Rajat Kapoor was beyond excited to explore Paranthe Wali Gali with us! We took him to Pt. Kanhaiya Lal Durga Prashad Dixit Paranthe Wale to relish tasty stuffed paranthe. It was established in 1875 which makes it a 149-year-old shop!

This legendary shop has over 25 types of stuffed paranthe on its menu. The owner narrated the entire menu in one breath and we were truly impressed! It was time for Rajat and Tonakshi to dig in and they were in awe of how good the food was. It was a true nostalgic experience for Rajat.

The joy of eating freshly made paranthe in the wintry mornings at Paranthe Wali Gali is a blissful experience. With the winter season upon us, you mustn’t miss it!
