Rajat Kapoor Often Visits The Big Chill Cafe And Perch In Delhi

While strolling the crowded lanes of Delhi’s Chandni Chowk, we asked Rajat Kapoor about his favourite restaurants in Delhi. Without a thought, he revealed his “adda” spots around the city. The actor visits The Big Chill Cafe and Perch in Khan Market quite frequently. You might run into the talented three-time National Award winner next time you visit these cafes!

He recalled his childhood days and how his “adda spots” were largely different from the lavish cafes of Khan Market. The ‘Drishyam’ actor said, “From Wenger’s pineapple pastry to parathe wali gali in Chandni Chowk, I loved it all. As I grew up in Chandni Chowk, breakfast would be halwa, mathri, bedmi aloo and more such dishes.” 

This nostalgic memory made him realise how his childhood meals were amazing, devoid of any dietary plans. It was nice to hear him talk about his youthful days.

In the video, Rajat Kapoor highlighted how his grandparents lived in Katra Neel, Chandni Chowk, Delhi. Most of his childhood days were spent in this area. He is a true Delhi boy at heart because there is so much nostalgia associated with this city. With time, he shifted his base to Mumbai for his career and has stayed ever since.

We asked our guest whether he felt at home in Mumbai or Delhi. To our surprise, he chose Mumbai with a big smile on his face. Rajat made it clear that Delhi doesn’t feel like home to him anymore and he is content with his blissful life in the City of Dreams. However, he did mention that the capital of India will always remain close to his heart.
