On our exciting episode of Sunday Brunch, we met with a dynamic duo from the upcoming movie Bhool Chook Maaf, Rajkummar Rao and Wamiqa Gabbi, for a wholesome Sunday brunch at Mumbai’s famous restaurant Bawri. Our Editor-in-Chief, Kamiya Jani, sat with them for more than just savouring all the delicious food. This episode was all about diving deep into their careers, how they started, their belief system, their relationships with their family members, and their love for food. During the insightful conversation, Rajkummar Rao expressed that he wholeheartedly believes in karma and God, as well as hard work.

Rajkummar Rao And Wamiqa Gabbi Speak About Their Belief Systems

Over the delicious fare at Bawri, including chole kulche, maa ki dal, potato basket, and a lot more, we discussed Rajkummar Rao and Wamiqa Gabbi’s belief system. If somebody has ever wronged them, do they believe in confrontation? They both gave a unified answer and stated that if somebody has knowingly wronged them, there’s no going back from there. However, if the relationship is important enough for them to save, they will confront the person and try to sort it out.

Rajkummar Rao also added that he is a huge believer in karma and God. He strongly believes that the only thing in his hands is to work hard and not worry about things that are not in his hands. While he believes that karma and God play a significant role in life, he also believes in working hard for everything that he wants to achieve.

When it comes to his career as an actor as well, from the get-go, he decided that he would always give his 100% and go out for auditions every day until his dreams came true. Even though it was his way of life, he definitely put in extra effort to make sure that he was giving his 100%. 10 years down the line, he didn’t want to regret and think that if only he had tried harder, he would be successful. That is certainly a great way to look at things!
