Owner of four startups, YouTuber, podcast host, ‘Disruptor of the Year’ awardee and official meme-worthy personality, Ranveer Allahbadia, joined our Editor-in-Chief, Kamiya Jani, to explore the famous eateries in Dadar-Wadala-Matunga aka DaWaMa. Ranveer Allahbadia With His Childhood Friend, Zervaan Bunshah
For the last spot of our food trail of this episode, we headed to Ranveer Allahbadia’s favourite hangout place, Café 792. We also met with his longtime friend who is also a YouTuber-cum-Internet personality, Zervaan Bunshah. Bunshah, a Parsi, is known for spitting facts in a subtle and not-so-subtle way on his Instagram account. Check him out and have a blast!
The childhood besties rejoiced and couldn’t stop pulling each other’s legs throughout. It was so nice to witness the friendly banter! Amongst all the fun conversations, we asked Ranveer’s chaddi buddy, Zervaan to spill the beans. It was specifically on his views on the quirky questions on ‘The Ranveer Show’ podcast.
Zervaan replied, “I know what he is doing! Ranveer knows that if you only ask serious questions, the youth audience will completely go away. He wants to be meme-d constantly to be relevant.” This is quite an insightful remark, Zervaan. This is the reason why he randomly asks about happiness metres, zombies and UFOs; seems like he lets his intrusive thoughts roll out!

The Most Polarising YouTuber In India?
Continuing on the same thought, “I have become one of the more polarising content creators in the country. I have realised that people who have strong negative opinions about me don’t explore my content enough,” said Ranveer. He has given up on attempting to convince people to understand his way of podcasting and debating methods.
Then jokingly he added that if someone doesn’t budge, he calls on Zervaan to convince them to like him. Everyone burst out laughing as he mentioned this right in front of the cameras! The fun banters and unfiltered roasts continued while we had a blast witnessing it all live.
