And now, according to the latest study by Internations, Ras Al Khaimah has landed on the sixth spot for being the Best City for Expats in 2024.
Internations Releases List Of Best & The Worst Cities For Expats
Internations has released a new report for 2024 ranking the Best and the Worst Cities for Expats. And Ras Al Khaimah has landed on the sixth spot for being one of the best cities for expats. Out of the 53 cities, the Expat Essential Index has also ranked Ras Al Khaimah at the top. Not to mention, it has ranked second globally in the Working Abroad Index and fifth for the Ease Of Settling In. This is hardly surprising as the report mentions that almost three and four respondents have found it easy to secure housing. This is high at 72% as compared to the global figures of 45%.
In fact, other cities from the UAE have also rent high in the best cities for expats. Abu Dhabi has secured the ninth spot while Dubai has secured the tent spot on the list. In case you’re wondering, Valencia in Spain has taken the first rank.

At this point, it’s worth mentioning that the index is based on the basis of four categories. Yes, these include admin, housing, language, and digital life. Talking about the Expat Essentials Index which has ranked Ras Al Khaimah at the top, Abu Dhabi and Dubai have also secured The second and the third spots leaving Panama and Muscat behind.
