Catch A Movie By The Sea At Razzberry Rhinoceros Juhu

Under 140 Characters

Ten years after its shut down, the iconic Razzberry Rhinoceros has reopened in Juhu. Version 2.0 comes with a coffee-wine bar, an open-air movie club, a view of the Arabian Sea and a delicious menu.

What Is It?

If you’re from the 90s and have been to Razz, you probably remember the dark interiors with the disco lights and the stage.  It’s time to break that nostalgic bubble. The new Razz is a bi-level mammoth structure that will cater to everything from live gigs to weddings to a fine-dine experience.

The gorgeous new seaside venue will feature international acts, local bands and Indie artists about thrice a week. Genres will span from to EDM to Sufi to rock. Version 2.0 will host about 1500 people, making it perfect for a Saturday night out.

The Interiors

The interiors will be home to gigs and then some. Razzberry Rhinoceros has a minimalistic appeal to it. Browns and yellows govern the colour scheme. The walls are a tribute to the good ol’ days and are filled with black and white pics of Juhu Hotel. Think of Razz as a laid-back, classy beach party.

The Exteriors

We. Are. Fans. Curly Tales visited Razz and instantly fell in love with the beautifully done up exteriors. Perfect for date night, the exteriors have a Greek vibe with a wooden deck, red canopies and dazzling white covers flapping in the wind. Silhouetted by palm trees, you get to see the most spectacular sunsets from this spot. Sink into the comfy seats and just gaze out into infinity.

What To Eat?

Unlike the earlier Razz with its food truck like menu, the revamped place is now divided into five food and beverage areas. Each section has its own special menu, crafted by renowned Chef Ranveer Brar. There’s even a special menu dedicated to children and college kids that’s priced rather moderately and features excellent options like Ghee Roast Chicken and Chipotle Paneer Tikka Satay.

What To Drink?

We love the Kafir Lime and Pineapple served in adorable Tikki glasses. It takes you right to the sandy beaches of Goa and is a delicious cooler to beat the heat. Watch out for the funky additions to every drink. Our favourite is the crushed Parle-G biscuits that comes with the Mumbai Cosmo.

What Else?

Zumba and yoga lessons! That’s right. Razzberry Rhinoceros will also be home to fun dance moves by the sea – the kinds that get you fit. Now comes the fun part. Razz will be hosting a three day, open-air movie festival by the sea at the Sunset Cinema Club. Which movies you ask? The classics of course!

What To Wear?

This restaurant may not be light on the pocket but when it comes to clothing, think light, flowy clothes. Our best bet would be cotton dresses, linen shirts and cool colours.
