The historic monument of Delhi, Red Fort, is all set for a major revamp which will add more museums to it.

What Is It?

The Red Fort reflects the sheer beauty of the Mughal dynasty that was the main residence for Mughal emperors until 1856. Located in centre of Delhi, the monument is all set for a major revamp in form of adding more museums to it.

What’s In It?

Red Fort will be the first monument in Delhi that will pay homage to all the soldiers and people who fought for India’s independence and sacrificed their lives.

You’ll also find a museum dedicated to the first war of independence fought in 1857 and another museum called Yaadein-e-Jaliyan that will pay homage to all the lives lost in the Jallianwala Bagh massacre. There will be a museum dedicated to Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose as well.
