Recently, the Red Sea International Film Festival announced a line-up of about 12 global shorts that have been selected for the Festival: Shorts Competition. The Stories selected are from around the world and this event will be taking place at Jeddah’s historic district of Al Balad in December. Red Sea International Film Festival Unveils Shorts Line-Up
The Red Sea International Film Festival has announced its lineup of 12 global shorts for its Red Sea: Shorts Competition. Taking place in the Al Balad district of Jeddah, this will be happening from December 5 to 14. It’s a part of the highly anticipated fourth edition of this festival and the selected shorts point at the powerful personal journeys. Made by directors hailing from countries like Ethiopia, Kenya, Bangladesh, Malaysia, Mauritius, Iran, and India, it’s bound to leave the viewers immersed in unforgettable narratives.
Line-Up Of Short Films
As it happens, the selection of stories reflects the Red Sea IFF’s mission of bringing the best of underrepresented talent to thousands of film lovers and industry experts. In fact, if you’re wondering about the names selected, they are as follows:

At this point, it’s worth mentioning that the new home of the film was launched in 2019 and since then it has been championing unique stories. Just the previous year the festival welcomed about 40,000 filmgoers and 143 films from 66 countries over 10 days.
