India is witnessing a lot of infrastructural development recently. However, it seems that not all of it is durable or made with the right quality of materials. A Redditor recently shared a video in which the bridge of the Mumbai-Nagpur Expressway had a huge hole right in the middle of the road. Many people criticised the authorities for not paying attention to the quality of materials used in the construction of such infrastructure projects.

If you’ve been following the news lately, you know that there are a number of infrastructure projects that are going on in the country. Recently, someone took to Reddit to share a video of a huge hole smack in the middle of the road of the Mumbai-Nagpur Expressway Bridge.

The video even showed how the hole looked from the bottom of the bridge to give the viewer an idea of how large it really is. The caption which was shared along with the video highlighted the fact that the bridge in question was built in a mere 14 months.

The fast pace of the construction is implied to have a hand in the poor quality of its making. It also explains why the bridge was damaged so soon after it was made.

Many Netizens were quick to criticise authorities for using subpar materials. One user sarcastically called this “Vikas Pro Max.” Another user said that they must have mixed in flour instead of limestone.
