Responding to a myth about people in Chennai eating food only on banana leaves, she shared that everyone should follow this particular method while having meals. The actor explained that banana leaves absorb vitamin D from the sun. This is the reason elders place a leaf on every plate before indulging in a feast. After elaborating on this health benefit, she busted the myth, stating that not all Chennaites eat food on banana leaves only.

The Actor Recommended Must-Visit Restaurants In Chennai

If you are planning a trip to this scenic city and looking for the best places to gorge on the most mouth-watering local delicacies, Regena Cassandrra shared a list of restaurants to explore here. She suggested a local mobile seafood truck built on a bus located near Marina Beach. Just a few days ago, she relished Prawn 65, Egg Fried Rice, and Seer Fish Fry from this place.

In this episode, she visited Nair Mess and recommended it to indulge in a gastronomic feast of authentic South Indian food. Some of Regena’s favourite food joints in Chennai are Marina and Aeseo.
