On the latest episode of Tere Gully Mein, we visited Chennai’s famous Marina Beach with actress Regena Cassandrra. Down The Memory Lane With Regena Cassandrra
Regena Cassandrra is a Chennai girl through and through, so we asked her to give us a tour of her hometown. She started her tour from one of the most beautiful beaches in the city–Marina Beach. While taking a stroll through the beach, she shared many childhood memories that the beach holds for her.
Regena shares that she was born in Chennai and did everything from her schooling to college in the city itself. In short, the city is home! She recounts coming to the beach with her mother, her friends, and their kids as a child. “All of us would come to the beach and the adventure of getting hit by the saltwater wave is another level altogether,” she remembers.
Not just the water, but even the shore holds a lot of memories for her, especially the food there! So, she took us to eat some boiled corn and manga, topped with red chilli powder. While sharing her memories, Regena Cassandrra said that the beach is not as clean as she remembers it, but it is still special to her.

Talks About Her First-Ever Audition As A Teenager
Regena Cassandrra has been a child actor and we were curious about what her first-ever audition looked like. She shared that before she gave an audition for a movie, she had already been part of several commercials. As for her first audition, she remembers that she was asked to hold a piece of paper with all her details on it and introduce herself. Being about 13 years old at that time, she gave details about her school, height, and hobbies. She recounts her hobbies included basketball and being a bathroom dancer at that time!
