After leaving crowds giddy with stellar performances and zones, Riyadh Season is returning for its 2024 edition. Yes, it will be starting on October 12 and the announcement was made during a press conference that was held in Via Riyadh. His Excellency Turki Alalshikh made announcements revealing details about one of the season’s zones and all the championship exhibitions and festivals that will be taking place. Here’s what he revealed to the people!

During the press conference held at Via Riyadh, it was revealed that 14 entertainment zones will be gracing Riyadh Season 2024. Besides this, 11 world championships and 10 exhibitions and festivals will be happening. As it happens, it will be covering an area of more than 7,200,000 m² and 4,200 contracts have already been signed. In fact, the Kingdom Arena Zone has been expanded by over 40%.

As a result, the capacity has increased to more than 27,000 spectators and this venue will be hosting four world championships. It’s worth mentioning that 11 world championships will be happening during this season. So, you can expect a light heavyweight world title match in boxing at the ‘IV Crown Showdown’ and even a surprise music performance during the event by a global superstar that’s going to be happening during the Russian Artur Beterbiev and Dimitry Bivol face-off.

‘The Venue’ is one of the new areas that have been added to this season. It has been built in 50 days and can accommodate 8000 people across 10,000 m². Hosting seven events, the global anticipated tennis championship Six Kings Slam will also be taking place here. In fact, a fashion show will be organised in partnership with Eli Saab called 1000 Seasons, along with the Latin Night. Additionally, the fifth Joy Awards, Power Slap, and Effie Awards will take place. Boulevard World is also returning with further expansion and the Boulevard City is also returning with a 70% increase in experiences and activities.
Yes, 14 new experiences and activities along with 25 restaurants and over 11 theatrical productions have been confirmed. In fact, the design for the Boulevard Business Park has also been revealed that will be covering 1,40,000 m². Reaching three converted Boeing 777 aeroplanes, they have been transformed into retail spaces, restaurants, and interactive experiences for adults and children.
