Roger Federer Went To This Iconic Restaurant In London

Taking to Instagram, Darth Federer (@rogerfedererfans1981) shared a video of the former tennis player visiting Dishoom in King’s Cross. The small clip is part of a YouTube video shared by UNIQLO ユニクロ. In the video, Roger can be seen spending 24 hours in London and trying out different experiences.

In between these 24 hours, the legend made a quick stop at London’s favourite Parsi-Indian restaurant, Dishoom. Nestled in King’s Cross, this restaurant is a unique take on Mumbai’s iconic Irani cafes that surrounded the city back in the 60s. It is also a homage to these historical cafes. Roger had a great time learning about Parsi-Indian food at Dishoom and learning a bit about the rich culture as well. He had a nice conversation with co-founders Shamil and Kavi Thakrar about the story behind the establishment and the history of this place.

For his gastronomic experiences, he relished Big Bombay and sipped on a cup of garam chai. Big Bombay is a modern twist to the classic English breakfast. He even saw the behind-the-scenes of making a naan in a special type of oven.
