The Royal Opera House Muscat has revealed that it will be unveiling its schedule for 2024/25 season this month. Yes, the announcement will be taking place on August 18, 11 PM on the ROHM YouTube channel. The previous season of the opera house captivated the audience with its mesmerising opera of the Barber Of Seville and breathtaking family shows like Symphony On Ice.

2. Sharjah Residents Warned Against Unlicensed Food Transport Vehicles

Sharjah residents have been warned to avoid engaging with unlicensed food transport vehicles. A warning has been issued for them as these practices can pose a serious threat to food safety. The development comes after the Sharjah Municipality has been intensifying its efforts to inspect food transport and delivery vehicles that operate without permits. Several surprise inspections are necessary to ensure that safe food is transported to the consumers.

3. Emirates 777s To Fy On 2 New Routes

Recently announced by the Emirates, there are no plans to introduce the newly retrofitted Boeing 777S to two more cities. After Geneva and Russells, the retrofitted aircraft will be serviced on the route to Zürich and Riyadh. Yes, and this will begin from October 1, 2024. it’s worth mentioning that the newly retrofitted Boeing 777s boasts plush seats and revamped interiors.

4. Etihad Airways Marks Growth In Profit

Etihad Airways recently reported that it has seen a 48% net profit growth. As a result, it ended up achieving AED 851 million. Not to mention, there has been a 21% rise in the total revenue of AED11.7 billion in the first half of 2024. All together, the results were attributed to the strong passenger numbers and cargo revenue. This has demonstrated the airlines’ operational excellence!

5. General Directorate Of Passports Continues Efforts For Umrah Pilgrims

The General Directorate Of Passports is continuing its effort to facilitate the arrival of Umrah performers. They are doing so through international entry points with dedicated terminals at land, air, and sea ports. These are being operated around the clock to welcome Umrah performers! Not to mention, the directorate has also deployed additional staff and resources for entry procedures. This, thereby ensures a smooth experience for Muslims.
