The previous year, which was season 2024-2025 had been a record-breaking one. Revealing its most exciting lineup yet, the Dubai Opera has now come out with the Season 2024-2025. Featuring a series of world-class performances throughout the year, here’s all you need to know about the upcoming lineup.

Dubai Opera Reveals Line-Up For Season 2024-2025

Dubai Opera has finally unveiled its lineup for the spectacular season 2024 – 2025. Kicking off with the Polish National Opera would be bringing a historic lineup with Verdi’s ‘Aida,’ the timeless ballet ‘Giselle,’ and Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9. So, the stage is set for an unforgettable season! Take a look at the scheduled performances for this year

1. Aida (Opera)
This is Giuseppe Verdi’s masterpiece ‘Aida,’ which will be performed by the Polish National Opera. As such, the orchestra, choir and soloists will be performing under the baton of Patrick Fournillier and directed by Roberto Laganà Manoli.
When: September 13-15

2. Giselle (Ballet)
This immortal ballet will also be presented by the talented artists of the Polish National Ballet and Orchestra. Also conducted by Patrick Fournillier, the show will be choreographed by Jean Coralli and Jules Perrot.
When: September 18-21

3. Beethoven’s 9th Symphony (Symphonic)
The National Polish Opera Orchestra will be performing Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9 at Dubai Opera, which is a masterpiece of Western classical music.
When: September 22

4. Carla Bruni (Concert)
She is famous for her subtle melodies and soft, alluring voice and is famed for her debut album, ‘Quelqu’un m’a dit’.
When: September 27

5. Umberto Tozzi – The Final Tour (Concert)
The legendary Italian pop artist is bringing his unforgettable farewell tour to the Dubai Opera. You can expect him to perform hits, like Ti Amo and Gloria.
When: September 28

6. Gustavo Santaolalla (Concert)
This Academy Award-winning music legend will celebrate the 25th anniversary of his iconic album Ronroco.
When: October 5

7. Brad Mehldau (Concert)
Bringing an evening of exceptional jazz, this Grammy Award-winning pianist is famous for his innovative approach and prolific output.

8. Romeo and Juliet (Dance)
A bold reimagining of Shakespeare’s masterpiece, this dance is from the acclaimed choreographer, Benjamin Millepied. In case you didn’t know, he’s famed for his work on the Academy Award-winning film Black Swan.

9. Il Volo (Concert)
The extraordinary Italian operatic-pop trio, Il Volo is known for its unique blend of classical opera and Italian classics.
When: October 25

10. Sophie Ellis-Bextor (Concert)
The electrifying evening showcases this popstar, known for her chart-topping hits like Murder On The Dance Floor.
When: October 26
