Ruslaan Mumtaz Is Stranded In Manali Amidst Heavy Rainfall, Takes To Instagram To Share Visuals

Manali, a beautiful town in Himachal Pradesh, is facing severe flooding crisis. The heavy rains have caused rivers and streams to overflow, leading to widespread destruction. Amongst the several others stuck in the floods, is actor Ruslaan Mumtaz.

The floods in Manali, Himachal Pradesh are causing a lot of problems. The heavy rain is making the rivers and streams overflow. This is destroying people’s homes. Actor Ruslaan Mumtaz, one of the many stuck in the floods, shared his experience in Manali through his Instagram stories. The actor was in Manali for a shoot a week ago and is now stranded due to the extreme weather.

The actor and his crew are all stuck in Manali and have had to halt further shooting due to drastic connectivity issues. The actor shared a series of updates one of which showed him taking shelter in a small garage-like room with the caption reading “Home for the night.”

In a separate video, the actor described the intensifying downpour that caused floods and destroyed the roads. Due to the lack of a network in the village, Ruslaan hasn’t posted any photos or videos since July 10.

State officials report that heavy rainfall lasting 72 hours has caused flooding in Himachal Pradesh. Sadly, this has resulted in the loss of 14 lives in the hill state. This is as reported by the Indian Express.

Furthermore, the IMD has forecasted additional rainfall in the coming days for the state. Following the heavy rains, road connectivity in the state has been greatly impacted. The state traffic police have also announced the closure of the Mandi-Kullu national highway due to a landslide.

Officials reported that approximately 800 roads remain closed in the state. Transport department officials stated that bus services on 1,255 routes operated by the Himachal Roadways Transport Corporation have also been suspended. Currently, 576 buses are stranded at various locations.

The heavy rainfall has caused rivers and streams to overflow, resulting in the destruction of homes and leaving many residents without shelter. The blocked roads have hindered rescue and relief efforts, making it difficult to provide immediate assistance.

However, the government is working diligently to evacuate affected individuals and supply essential resources. The road to recovery will be challenging, but the resilience and determination of the people of Manali will help them rebuild their lives and restore their beautiful town.
