Sachin Tendulkar, one of the best cricketers in the world and certainly the most popular Indian cricketer, is an icon. He nwooed the entire nation with his talent. This truly talented man who is known for his contributions to the country joined our Editor-in-Chief, Kamiya Jani, to make our 100th Sunday Brunch episode immensely special. It was an incredible episode where we got to know so much about our favourite sportsman.
Sachin Tendulkar Played ‘This or That’ With Us
Right at the beginning of the episode, we got to know about the immense love Sachin Tendulkar has for food. More surprisingly, we also got to know that he cooks and he cooks well. That led us to start our very yummy Sunday brunch at First Catch, his favourite restaurant. After digging into tasty bites, it was time for some fun, and we decided to play a game with him.
We played ‘This or That’ with him, and he had to choose one of the two options we presented before him. Between Pithla Bhakri and Sabudana Khichdi, he chose Sabudana Khichdi. Next, between Misal Pav and Vada Pav, he obviously chose the latter one. When it came to choosing between Modak and Puran Poli, he wasn’t able to make a choice because he loves them both. There were a few more questions that he answered pretty easily.

He Was An Extremely Naughty Kid
Talking about his childhood, we were curious to know if he was a naughty kid. Well, Sachin admits he was really naughty, and the neighbours complained about him and his friends every evening. In fact, this is how he got introduced to cricket. Yep, gully cricket delivered Indian cricketing legend.
When his complaints started coming every day, his brother pointed out that his energies needed to be channelled somewhere else. To fix that, his parents sent him to Shivaji Park to play every evening. Addressing his mischief as a kid, he even shared that he was surprised how his parents never lost their cool with him. But now that he is a parent himself, he understands their point of view.
