The water taxi service connecting Yas Bay, Yas Marina, and Al Bandar beach districts in Abu Dhabi has been reinstated. The Department of Municipalities and Transport’s (DMT) aquatic division, Abu Dhabi Maritime, AD Ports Group, and master developer Miral have recently confirmed their joint efforts to establish a brand-new public water cab service.

The recent Public Water Taxi service highlights the initiatives and dedication to creating cutting-edge maritime services required to sustain Abu Dhabi’s status as one of the finest places for a better lifestyle and travel globally.

Given the completion of the Water Shuttle Pilot Program previously this year, Miral is launching the Public Water Taxi. The launch is part of its plans to improve citizen and tourist experiences on the island.  The purpose is to provide a reliable marine transport network for anyone wanting to travel through the famous Yas Bay Waterfront.

The addition of water taxis to the public transportation system would enhance connections between some of Abu Dhabi’s well-known coastal attractions and run continuously.
