Sania Mirza Confirms Retirement, Talks About Her Current Transition Phase

When asked what her daily routine is like in Dubai, the Tennis player says, “Well, I’m on the transition phase because I’m just about retiring from actively playing Tennis. So ya, usually it used to be wake up in the morning, go for practice, come back, take some time or go to the physio, come back, training, come back – so it was like seven hours of the day. Now it much more revolves around my son. I have been nursing an elbow injury as well, which is why I’m not practicing. So I take him to school in the morning, at 8. After I drop him I actually go to my cardio, after cardio I go to my gym. I try and finish everything before he is done with school so I can sort of try and spend as much time as possible with him. Honestly, that is you know the whole thing. Because I travel a lot and when I’m in Dubai, I like to have that quality time because by the time it’s 7: 30, he is wipped out. So I only have those few hours after he is back from school.
