Recently, celebrity chef Sanjeev Kapoor took to Instagram to ask people about their best experience with unexpectedly good Indian food fusions, and we’ve caught some interesting recipes.

With a post captioned, “What’s the most unexpected and surprising combinations that have won over your taste buds,” Sanjeev Kapoor has left the Internet in a frenzy. The celebrated chef took to Instagram to ask this question and the comments have left us all intrigued and slightly disgusted (no offence)! Chef Kapoor even added his comfort fusion food – Uttapam Sandwich. Now, that sounds like a dish that deserves its own recipe video, chef!
From Fried Rice + Raita To Chocolate Golgappa – Comments Were Interesting!
The comment section of Sanjeev Kapoor’s post has since been flooded with some interesting combinations. From Butter Chai and Avocado Khakhra to Butter Chicken Chowmein, people have found some intriguing food fusion recipes. Some of our personal favourites have been Fried Rice with raita, Rusk with shrikhand spread, kulcha pizza, and moong dal sprouts raita with mutton pulao.
Now, coming to the ones that left us wondering and not in a good way. People have listed dishes like gulab jamun bun, chicken biryani with kadhi, and noodles with dahi. Well, to each their own, we suppose!
