Saras Aajeevika Mela Is Back At Noida Haat With Cultural Food Court, 85+ Traditional Performances & More

Delhi NCR is no stranger to cultural events that take place during the winter. As the weather is pleasant enough to explore fine things for the people, a number of melas take place during that time. And now, the Saras Aajeevika Mela is back for its 2024 edition at Noida Haat. Organised by the Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India this was announced by them on the official page on X (formerly Twitter).

Saras Aajeevika Mela Is Back In Noida

According to a post by the Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India, the Saras Aajeevika Mela is back at Noida Haat from February 16 onwards. This cultural event will be taking place at the venue till March 4 and offers free entry and parking. For those who aren’t aware, Noida is located in Sector 33 A and it’s a great place for people to shop for traditional handicrafts and indulge in delicious regional cuisines. This year, the mela is going to feature over 450 rural crafts women from SHGs, Saras Food Court that will offer delicacies from several states, and over 85 traditional cultural performances.

What Can You Expect From This Edition?

From the previous edition, it’s evident that the slew of stalls put up by SHGs of crafts offer a variety of items. From home decor items and colourful apparel in traditional prints to food products, there are many things that you might want to add to your pantry. However, the highlight has to be the food court where you will be spoilt for choice. With several stalls offering a range of delicious dishes from different states, you will certainly not want to miss out on this.

Cultural Performance Worth Enjoying

In fact, this edition also has a special kid zone that your little munchkin can also enjoy if you take them along. Complete with fun-filled rides and activities, they are surely going to have a great time. As it happens, the mela as mentioned in the Instagram post by Noida Haat will have several cultural performances. These are surely going to be a great way to keep yourself entertained while you also get to know about the importance of such performances in each state.
