Saudi Arabia has announced multiple entry visas for Indian travellers. To boost tourism, Saudi has introduced visa options like Stopover Visa, eVisa, and even Visa-On-Arrival. This initiative is part of Saudi Vision 2030 and aims to make India the number one source market for tourism. They expect 2.2 million Indian travellers to visit Saudi Arabia by the end of 2024.

Saudi Arabia has beckoned Indian travellers to visit their country by introducing an array of tourist visa options. These visas will make Saudi Arabia’s beautiful and diverse destinations much more accessible for Indians. They have introduced options like Stopover Visa, eVisa, and Visa-On-Arrival to welcome more Indian tourists.

This initiative is in line with the Saudi Vision 2030. They aim to tap into India’s potential as Saudi’s number one source market for tourism and welcome 7.5 million Indian travellers by 2030. From Riyadh’s vibrant cityscape and Jeddah’s cultural richness to the ancient marvels of AlUla, Saudi Arabia wants travellers from India to experience it all. That’s why they have introduced multiple visa options to cater to the variety of travel needs of Indian travellers.

Everything You Need To Know About These Visas

Here is everything you need to know about the multiple visa options that Saudi Arabia introduced for Indians –

Stopover Visa: Have a flight stopover in Saudi? Well, Indian travellers will now be able to apply for a Stopover visa to explore the country and it will be valid for up to 96 hours. You can get the visa 90 days in advance via the Saudia airline website.

eVisa: To apply for an eVisa, you will need a valid tourist or business visa from the United States of America, the United Kingdom, or any Schengen country. As per a report in Times of India, permanent residents of these countries or individuals possessing a valid residence visa from a GCC (Gulf Cooperation Council) country with a minimum validity of three months beyond the entry date into Saudi are also eligible for this visa. You can get an eVisa before departure through the official portal.

Visa on Arrival: The criteria for Visa on arrival is similar to eVisa. If you meet the criteria then you can avail of a Visa on Arrival at Saudi international airports.
