The new prayer room in Makkah has been unveiled at Address Jabal Omar Makkah and it’s called Sky Mussallah.
Sky Mussallah Unveiled At Address Jabal Omar Makkah
Overlooking the beautiful views of the city, Sky Mussallah is located on the twin floors of 36, 37, and 38 at the Address Jabal Omar Makkah Hotel. Situated at a height of 483 metres above sea level, this is the highest prayer room in the world. Yes, earning Saudi Arabia another impressive Guinness World Record, the record-breaking peaceful space stands 179 m from the hotel’s internal road level.

It’s worth mentioning that this prayer room spans across 550 m² and can hold 520 people at a time. Offering visitors the breathtaking view of the Makkah, it also includes the bird’s eye view of the Holy Kaaba and Masjid Al-Haram. Moreover, the interiors of the prayer room have merged Arabic and contemporary interior design along with Arabic calligraphy that adorn the walls. Yes, and these strokes inscribe different names of God in Islam, Arabic verses, and letters of the Holy Quran are also on the pillars and walls.

Located In Makkah, The Prayer Room Is Situated At The Height Of 483 M
Awarded with the title of ‘Highest Prayer Room Within a Sky Bridge,’ this has earned Saudi Arabia another Guinness World Record. For this space, a 650-tonne steel bridge was assembled at the height of 312 m above sea level, which was then lifted to the final level. As a result, the space is both an architectural brilliance and boundless creativity! So, when the dawn breaks in the city, people will be able to witness the stunning beauty of this holy city, as it awakens. Thereby, making for a blissful sight!
