Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has seen quite a number of Indian visitors in the previous year, as demand for travel to the country for both spiritual and leisurely purpose has increased. And now, it was revealed by ANI that Riyadh aims to attract 7.5 million Indian visitors by 2030! This was articulated by Alhasan Aldabbagh, the President of Asia Pacific, Saudi Tourism Authority during the prominent SATTE 2024 travel show. And for this, they also introduced a 96-hour free visa. During the participation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia at the SATTE, Alhasan Aldabbagh emphasised India as a pivotal market. He highlighted that a substantial growth of 50% in Indian visitors was seen in Saudi Arabia in 2023. And now, he has outlined plans to achieve the 2030 Vision. During the third participation at the distinguished trade show in South Asia, he mentioned that India was a priority for Saudi Arabia. In the report, it was also mentioned that the nation welcomed 1.5 million visitors from India just in the year 2023.

96-Hour Free Visa For Indians

This growth in the number of visitors is up by 50% and now their objective is to attract 7.5 million visitors from India to the country. For this, they also plan to expand the VFS offices in India, which currently stand at 10. Not to mention, he also revealed that they have introduced a stopover programme that offers a 96-hour free visa. This is especially available for those who are travelling through Saudi Airlines or flynas, which is a private low-cost airline from Saudi Arabia. Moreover, he also revealed that people who held US, UK, or Schengen Visa were also eligible for a Visa or Visa on arrival, as introduced previously.
