1. Al Khail Road Project Complete

All the phases of the Al Khail Road Development Project are now complete. Yes, the construction includes five bridges and they span 3,300 metres and the widening of roads. Yes, these improvements were carried out across seven key areas. In case you’re wondering, these are along Al Khail Road, including Al Jaddaf, Zabeel, Meydan, Business Bay, Al Quoz 1, Ghadeer Al Tair, and Jumeirah Village Circle.

2. Saudi Arabia Introduces Penalty For Railway Law Violation

The kingdom has introduced new penalties for violations of its Railway Law. Yes, the fines soar up to SAR10 million. However, the Committee for Reviewing Violations will then assess the penalties on the basis of the severity. As a result, repeated offences can fetch up to SAR20 million.

3. Abu Dhabi Ranks High In Kearney’s Global Cities Index

Dubai and Abu Dhabi have tied for the first rank. Yes, at the number one position, they have taken the top spots for ease of entry, according to a new Kearney’s Global Cities Index. Dubai has retained its leading position in the Middle East and North Africa region.

4. 30-Day Vehicle Impoundment For Distracted Driving

The Dubai Police has announced stricter rules for violating traffic rules. Yes, vehicles can now be impounded for 30 days for distracted driving due to the use of mobile phones. In fact, a stricter penalty has been introduced to reduce accidents.

5. Saudi Zone Welcomes Visitors

There’s a new ‘Saudi Arabia’ zone in Boulevard World that’s open for visit in Riyadh Season 2024. At this zone, visitors are offered warm hospitality, perfumes, incense, handicrafts, fashion shows, Saudi coffee, popular dishes, and various entertainment experiences.
