Saudi Arabia Joins Hands With Pakistan To Launch A Plan For Umrah Pilgrims
Saudi Arabia and Pakistan have jointly unveiled a strategic plan to elevate the travel experience of Hajj and Umrah pilgrims from Pakistan. This comprehensive agreement, named the ‘Air Services Agreement,’ was formally signed during Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Dr. Tawfiq Al-Rabiah’s, four-day visit to Pakistan. The accord focuses on augmenting flight frequency between the nations. And the best part of this deal is the decreasing costs associated with pilgrimages.
Notably, the Nusuk platform will streamline Umrah visa issuance within 24 hours. It will be extending visa validity from 30 to 90 days. Dr. Al-Rabiah emphasised that Pakistani pilgrims will have the opportunity to explore Saudi Arabia’s rich tourist, historical, and cultural sites, aiming to transform Umrah into an indelible historical voyage.
The forthcoming Nusuk exhibition will serve as a noteworthy event for Saudi and Pakistani tourism. It is slated to take place in Karachi and Umrah companies can benefit from it. Dr Al-Rabiah underscored the profound bilateral relations cultivated under the guidance of King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. They have notably contributed to a noteworthy surge in Umrah pilgrims from Pakistan, surpassing one million in the preceding year.
