Expect a full-on festival built around sport, wellness and family time, as mentioned by Arab News. And honestly, it’s the kind of event you’d want to block your calendar for.
A Beach That Turns Into A Sporting Arena
For five days, the historic AlUqair coastline will transform into a buzzing festival zone. Expect high-energy beach tournaments for both men and women. The lineup of activities includes soccer, volleyball and handball matches. They’re organised by the Saudi Arabian Football Federation (SAFF), and yes, there’s prize money. More than SAR200,000 worth of medals and cash rewards for the champs.
More Than Matches: A Festival Packed With Experiences
The Fan Zone will be the heart of the fun with interactive games and activities that keep both kids and adults happy. Then there’s the Wellness Zone, which adds a calmer touch with yoga sessions and fitness classes. Expect a mix of families stretching in the sun, groups trying new workouts and friends challenging each other to balance poses they absolutely cannot hold.
A curated food and beverage area will serve everything from quick bites to full meals, so you can stick around from late afternoon till night.
If you’ve ever wanted to try beach sports without signing up for long-term classes, Ramliyah also offers taster sessions led by the Saudi Sports Federation. Pick a sport, join a quick intro and see if you’ve found your next hobby.
So, you are in for food, live music and amazing vibes!
A Big Win For Young Athletes
One of the standout features this year is the debut of Sports For All’s Active Program for under-18s. The initiative encourages kids and teens to stay active in a fun, structured way.
