As revealed in a report by Siasat.com, the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has achieved a significant milestone by launching home delivery of Zamzam water. This milestone has been launched as the kingdom’s effort to improve digital religious services. For this purpose, they have not launched the delivery of Zamzam water via the Nusuk App.
Through this service, users can order Zamzam water in 330 ML bottles. After this, they can get delivered to their doorstep in any city across the kingdom. However, there is no restriction on quantity or the number of orders. As it happens, this is a big step as the whole water is available in this capacity for the first time.
Why Has This Initiative Been Launched?
The initiative has been launched by the ministry as a part of the kingdom’s effort to enhance digital religious services. Not to mention it also aims to make spiritual resources more accessible to everybody. Additionally, new bottles are not just lightweight, but also practical and easy to handle. As a result, it offers a convenient alternative to the traditional 5 L container; these bottles can easily be carried, stored, and served. So it’s not only suitable for daily use at home, but even perfect for work or while travelling.

More About Zamzam Water
At this point, it’s worth mentioning that previously, the sacred water was only available through designated distribution centres in Makkah. Not to mention, it could be brought home by pilgrims after they performed Hajj or Umrah. With the launch of the digital service, every household in the kingdom can get access to the sacred water more easily and conveniently.
Zamzam water carries immense religious significance. It lies about 21 m east of the Kaaba and dates back thousands of years. With approximately 30 m deep, it is one of the most revered water sources in Islam, and Muslims drink this water to seek healing, blessing, and well-being.
