As mentioned above, Saudi Arabian citizens can now invite their Muslim friends to the kingdom for performing Umrah through a Personal Visit Visa. According to a notification released by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, on Twitter, these Personal Visit Visas can be obtained online. Not to mention, these can be single-entry or multiple-entry as well. Going by a report of the Arab News, visitors can also take trips to several tourist destinations in the kingdom. This is besides being allowed to perform Umrah at the Grand Mosque in Mecca and visit the Prophet’s Mosque in Medina.

Where Can You Apply For This Visa?
In case you are wondering about where to apply for this visa, you can submit the application on the visa platform of the kingdom. It should be noted that the single entry visa is valid for 90 days and the same for multiple entry visa is for one year. However, the duration for a stay in both cases is for 90 days. This development comes in line with the kingdom’s strategy for developing its tourism industry as a part of the Saudi Vision 2030. With this visa rule, there is bound to be a major boost in the spiritual tourism of the country.
