1. AED280 Saving On Tickets

Are you planning to travel this summer? If your answer is yes, then you will be pleased to know that you can save AED280 per ticket if you travel on certain dates. According to a poll, it was revealed that on certain dates from late July to August, airfares, accommodations, and tourist activities have lower prices. A reason for this is that during the period, there is reduced demand due to extreme weather. In fact, the last week of July is the cheapest week to fly out according to reports!

2. Abu Dhabi Police Asks People Not To Leave Engines Running

According to the Abu Dhabi Police, drivers have been warned of AED500 fine, if they fail to follow traffic signs and instructions. In fact, they also warn drivers of the dangers of leaving their car engines running when they step out of the vehicle. Sharing this through an awareness video, they pointed out that a common practice by drivers, this is often followed at ATMs, petrol stations, or even mass. Leaving the engine running, it can lead to the car catching fire or even being stolen!

3. Les RochesTo Be Established At Zayed Sports City

The Department of Culture and Tourism Abu Dhabi has revealed that Les Roches will be established at the Zayed Sports City. This announcement was made along with Les Roches Global Hospitality, with the aim of developing the UAE hospitality sector. Enhancing hospitality management in the emirate, it is expected to open in September of this year. Not to mention, it will combine additional hospitality and specialised UAE-centric courses.

4. ITS World Congress Registration Open

The 30th session of the ITS World Congress is now calling for registration. To be hosted by the Dubai Roads and Authority, it will be taking place from September 16-20, this year. Happening at the Dubai World Trade Centre, the early bird ticket prices are only available till July 15. So, if you want to register, you will want to visit the ITS World Congress website.
