A Journey Through French Cheese Heritage

Founded by Pierre Brisson, the Musée du Fromage was born from a deep love of cheese and a desire to share this passion with the world. Pierre’s vision was to create a space where people could learn about and appreciate the artisanal nature of cheesemaking.  The museum aims to educate both tourists and locals about the traditional practices that have defined French cheesemaking for centuries.

The museum also serves as a bridge between the urban and rural. It certainly brings the essence of the French countryside into the bustling heart of Paris. By collaborating with traditional farmers, the Musée du Fromage provides a glimpse into the pastoral life that sustains this age-old craft.

The Musée du Fromage is easily accessible via the Sully-Morland Métro station. The tickets are priced at €20 (₹1,821.50 approx.) for adults and €13 (₹1183.98 approx.) for children and free entry for farmers and agriculture students. It certainly offers an affordable and enriching experience for all.

The Musée du Fromage is poised to become a beloved destination, celebrating the diversity and depth of French cheese.
