“I don’t hold grudges against others, because it affects my skin.” After reading this line, you probably would have guessed who we are talking about today! Well, it’s Shalini Passi. From Netflix’s Fabulous Lives vs. Bollywood Wives, Shalini Passi recently appeared on Curly Tales’s Sunday Brunch episode with our Editor-in-Chief, Kamiya Jani. Kamiya visited Shalini’s magnificent home-cum-museum-cum-mansion in New Delhi for an elaborate meal and an even more interesting conversation.
“You Are What You Eat,” Is Shalini Passi’s Beauty Mantra
You’ve all probably seen Shalini’s home on the show, but you haven’t witnessed her and Kamiya’s incredible conversation over delicious chaat. From Raj Kachori to Hibiscus Pani Puri, all types of Delhi chaat were served with a unique twist. While engaging in a conversation about Shalini’s lifestyle and how she deals with situations, Kamiya asked Shalini about her skincare routine. No doubt we all want to know the key to Shalini’s radiant skin.
While answering this question, Shalini uttered her popular line, “You are what you eat.” She mentioned that firstly, whatever a person eats gets reflected on their skin, hair, and even nails. Secondly, she said exercise is important. Third, she said that skincare plays a very minimal role in keeping the skin healthy. She stated that if a person eliminates different oils from their diet, it will affect the skin poorly.
Shalini shared her glowing skin’s secret: she consumes a full ghee shot in the morning, and it works wonders for her skin.
From Handling Toxic People to Maintaining a Routine Lifestyle, Shalini Does It All
As we have seen, Shalini is a person who prefers to follow her routine, work hard, and manage her lifestyle instead of having parties or going or get-togethers. Shalini had her goals set, and her talk with Kamiya provided us with a profound understanding of her beliefs and aspirations.
In their light-hearted conversation, Kamiya asked Shalini about how she achieved this sense of maturity or spirituality in her life. “My grandmother used to say if you are good, people will be good,” is what Shalini said. She added that she inherited it from her grandmother, who was very spiritual and simple.
Regarding how to handle toxic people, Shalini stated that she tries to analyse the situation herself and avoids them for a while. She mentioned that if it’s urgent, she tries to sort the situation out on a call after analysing the situation.
