His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minster of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, connected with the emergency centre of the Dubai Health Authority (DHA) over a phone call, that has now gone viral.
In the call, Sheikh Mohammed is heard expressing his pride over the efficiency of those working in the health sector. The Dubai Ruler called them the country’s first line of defence against Covid-19. He is also heard enquiring about the work processes in the sector. Additionally, an employee Sara was heard giving him more information saying they are conducting regular meetings, and are closely monitoring the situation. The health sector is also preparing for the worst- increasing bed capacity at hospitals.
Sara further mentioned that the general public understand the situation and are cooperating with them when the situation is explained.
