Sheikh Mohammed Approves Plans For Thousands Of New Houses In Latifa City, Dubai

Recently, Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, who is the Ruler of Dubai and the Vice President of the UAE, approved a series of projects. Yes, he approved the plan to double the number of Emirati families within 10 years! For this, a series of homes will be built for the Emiratis in a designated area, called ‘Latifa City.

As a part of the Dubai Social Agenda 33, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum has launched a project, which includes the allocation of 3,500 plots of land. And, these will be distributed amongst the citizens in Dubai. Besides the 2,300 ready-to-move-in houses across Dubai, which are valued at AED5.5 billion, these new plots reflect his commitment to providing everybody with the support needed for the welfare and well-being of the families.

The new designated area is called ‘Latifa City and citizens have been reassured that their families and social stability are fundamental to all government plans. In fact, the housing plots that have been earmarked for citizens, as mentioned by the National News, span 40 million square feet. Not to mention, the eligible citizens from Dubai can take ownership from February onwards.

The Ready-To-Move-In Plots Are 2,700

The ready-to-move-in plots are 2,700 and out of this, 800 are in the Al Yalayis 5 area. Yes, out of this, 2,300 new houses for citizens that I located across Dubai. Yes, these are included in the areas of Al Khwaneej 2, Al Aweer, and Hatta. At this point, it is worth mentioning that Sheikh Mohammed recently also launched AED208 billion Dubai Social Agenda programme. Yes, and one of the key highlights of this was the doubling of the number of Emirati families in Dubai within a decade! Moreover, plans have also been set in place to further enhance housing standards, overall quality of life and health care for the citizens.
